Billing, Plans, and Upgrades — FAQ

Pricing changes over time, and your invoice is the source of truth. For current rates and plan tiers, see wadwin.com pricing or ask support@wadwin.com if you're on a custom deal.

What's usually in a plan

Plans typically combine:

  • Workspace access — your team, roles, and connected WhatsApp numbers.
  • Usage limits — messages, AI credits, seats, or other meters depending on what we're shipping this quarter.
  • Support — standard email vs priority, where offered.

Exact entitlements appear in Settings → Billing (and in Stripe customer-facing descriptions when you subscribe).

How to upgrade

  1. Sign in as someone with billing permissions (workspace owner or the role your account uses for payments).
  2. Open Settings → Billing in the dashboard.
  3. Choose a higher plan or add seats / usage packs when the UI offers them.
  4. Complete checkout with Stripe — Wadwin uses Stripe for HKD billing.

If the button you expect isn't there, your org might be on manual invoicing — email support.

How billing works

  • Subscriptions bill on the renewal cycle shown in Stripe (monthly or annual, depending on what you picked).
  • Taxes and receipts follow Stripe's receipt settings for your account email.
  • Failed payments trigger Stripe's dunning emails — update your card in the billing portal linked from Settings.

We don't store your full card number in Wadwin — Stripe does.

Cancellation

You can cancel renewal from the billing portal or by following the cancel path in Settings → Billing when available. After cancellation, access usually continues until the end of the paid period — check your Stripe subscription details for the exact end date.

What happens to data if you cancel

Your workspace data (conversations, contacts, templates metadata) stays in our systems for a period governed by our Terms and Privacy policy — including retention and deletion timelines. If you need export or deletion on a specific schedule (e.g. GDPR-related), contact support@wadwin.com with your workspace identifier.

We're not going to delete everything the second a card fails — but we also don't promise infinite free storage after churn. When in doubt, export what you need before you leave.
